Gorau Mon… Best of Anglesey!
Anglesey has always been known as Mam Cymru, the Mother of Wales, due to its ability to produce an abundance of food from land and sea. There is endless choice – wonderful salt marsh lamb, organic beef, fish caught the same day as it goes on sale, shellfish that will make you lick your lips in anticipation of a fantastic meal ahead. Delicious honey that has been made by some very happy bees, world renowned Anglesey sea salt to dip the locally grown asparagus into. Cold ice creams and gelatos that have been produced using local cream, milk and wonderful local fruits including sea buckthorn – harvested from our shores. Pop along to the local markets to source these wonderful products knowing everything is as fresh as can be.
